This Muslim-owned restaurant is one of the popular restaurants in Tanah Rata. It’s an outdoor buffet-style steamboat restaurant that you can find inside the Animal Rainbow Feeding Farm. There’s a wide variety of BBQ selections including lamb, beef and duck as well as seafood! Do note that it can get quite busy during peak hours.

Gonbei Steamboat is one of the restaurants in Cameron Highlands to have a quiet, peaceful and romantic dinner with your loved one. It’s a little more pricey than the rest but you get quality and fresh ingredients here. It’s the only Japanese restaurant here which means you can also have sukiyaki, teppanyaki or shabu shabu. Remember to save some space for the strawberries as the dessert!
